If you want to be a writer, you must do two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot. There's no way around these two things that I'm aware of, no shortcut." -Stephen King
Where there is light, there is darkness, but while the light may die out in time, like a star twinkling in its last stages of life in the night sky, the darkness will remain. What does this say of humanity?" -Zackatel (from Bloodloss)
The Latest
My next book release is finally here, and it's a collaborative experience! Be sure to pick up a copy of Bad Spirits and dive into ten unique tales of horror. Each story is a unique approach to the theme of bad spirits from a different perspective. In my tale, Shadowed Reality, a writer on a cabin retreat with his beloved wife has his world disheveled when a string of events makes him question his hold on the world around him. Be sure to the paperback or ebook edition today.

"It's just like the scientists say, the universe doesn't care about you and what makes sense to your perspective. There's a whole lot of crazy happenings out there. You've gotta do your best to go with the flow until your make it." -Eric (from Shadowed Memories)
"Why do you write and draw?"
Writing is an outlet for the creativity in me that has been growing and searching for a way out since childhood. As a kid it started out with drawings and battles scribbled whatever notebooks I could get my hands on, along with running around the house with airplanes, robots, and dinosaurs in hand. The older I got, the more story-telling experienced I was exposed to, each one tugging at a piece of me, calling for me to take a bite and stretch my tentacles out just a little further. Writing and sketching feel natural and provide me with a sense of satisfaction that I find lacking in other areas of work. There's nothing like sitting down and fleshing out a character and world, or sketching up some new monster, logos, and designs. That is why I am a writer, and that is why I draw.

"For a human to forget something can be such a fatal flaw, or a welcome blessing. But then again, it could also simply be a whimsical shortcoming." -Eric (from Shadowed Memories)
